Years of designing
for brands that matter
I grew up in Kashmir, India — one of the most breathtaking places on earth. From a young age, I was drawn to how things looked: the curve of a mountain, the pattern on a shawl, the way light hit snow-covered rooftops. I didn't know it then, but I was learning to see.
I started my design journey in 2019, freelancing on the side while studying. My first projects were scrappy — logos for local businesses, posters for college events. But they taught me something invaluable: design is a service, not self-expression. You're solving someone else's problem with your skills.
By 2021, I had my first international clients — startups from the UAE, the UK, and beyond. Word spread through referrals. People came to me not just because I could make things beautiful, but because I made them feel understood. That's the part I'm most proud of.
Today, I run a small independent studio from Kashmir, working with founders, brands, and product teams across three continents. I specialize in UI/UX design, brand identity, and logo design — the three pillars of how a brand shows up in the world. I still believe the best design starts with a genuine conversation.
When I'm not designing, you'll find me lost in a good book, hiking around Dal Lake, or obsessing over the latest design system from some company I'll never work for — inspiration doesn't clock out.
